The final day of our residential trip involved a morning full of games and activities. This included taking part in the low ropes and having a go at the high tower zip line.
Here is Ben bravely coming down the zip wire and being a great Fox Hill Learner by shouting words of encouragement to his class mates.
After a busy day of activities, the children were able to party at the disco and then chill out with a movie and popcorn.
After a big lunch, we headed off for round 2 of our activities. We were able to take part in outdoor laser tag, climb Jacob’s ladder and the experience the night line walk.
We then headed back to our rooms to change for tea. After tea, we had a disco with the other schools and were able to show off our dance moves. We then finished the night off by watching the film Madagascar together.
We all fell into our beds exhausted after a very busy day.
After a late night and a VERY early morning we were all ready for a fun packed day of activities. So far we have been on the 3G swing, practised our aim in archery and undertaken some problem solving skills.
Busy exploring and setting up our rooms on the Kilamanjaro corridor.
Our first attempt at indoor bouldering. Chasing each other around the climbing wall.
A quick game of rounders.
We have arrived at Kingswood Peak Venture Centre. So far we have explored the centre, had lunch and been on a long walk around the reservoir. More updates to follow.
Already we are starting to get some fantastic home learning back linked to our new topics.
