On Friday 16th May the children in Key Stage 1 joined in Food Revolution Day. This was a fun packed day learning all about healthy food choices. There was a family picnic on the playground, healthy eating games and activities in the Main Hall and a demonstration via weblink from Jamie Olver on how to make a healthy food wrap. All of the children and adults then worked together to make their own wraps to take home and enjoy. We had a fantastic time and thank you to all of the families who came along to support. We hope you enjoyed the day and we look forward to welcoming you back into school for more activity days like this. Big thanks to Miss Fletcher and the Key Stage 1 team for a really successful and enjoyable afternoon.
This half term our whole school topic has been focussed on developing our creative skills looking at the famous “George and the Dragon” painting. There has been some amazing art work around school and creative writing linked to this exciting theme. Our classrooms also went immersive with dragon caves!
