On Tuesday 15th July 2014 we held our annual Y6 Leavers Party between 5.30pm and 7.30pm. This year we had a special ‘red carpet’ event with bucks fizz (non-alcoholic of course!) on arrival, a special three course dinner followed by party games and disco. Here are some photos of our Main Hall and Small Hall:
The children and staff had a brilliant time and I would like to thank everyone who helped to organise, setup, run and tidy away at the event. It was great to have so many children and staff attend. Thank you for making it a really special evening for our Y6 children and help them to celebrate their time at Fox Hill Primary and their brilliant KS2 SAT results. Here are some photos from the night… (more to follow!)
On Friday 11th July 2014 we held our first (in a long time!) Summer Fair. Due to our new school build taking place on the field, all of the activities and stalls had to take place in our two halls and at the bottom of the drive. We had lots of exciting activities including:
– A bouncy castle
– Hook a duck
– Fairground ride
– SWFC Football Shoot out
– Play your cards right
– Guess the balloons
– Find the hidden treasure
– Wii Pigeon Shoot out
– A tombola and raffle
We also had lots of great stalls including a huge cake stall, toys, a BBQ, books, stationary and much more. Thanks to Rhodesy’s Traditional Sweet Stall, the Fisher family, Usbourne Books and Fox Hill Forum who all came along to support our Fair. We would also like to thank all of our families who donated cakes and toys and came along to support the fair.
The event was a huge success and we hope everyone had a great time. We are looking forward to holding more events like this in school.
